Do you know the legal requirement for the tread on your tyres? 1.6mm is the minimum depth required by law. If your tyres are below this you risk a fine, penalty points and a higher risk of injuring yourself and others in an accident.
With so many tyre makes and sizes available today, we just don't have the room to stock them all. But, we do stock the most popular sizes in our economy range (Federal) and the best price branded tyres (Firestone). We still have access to all the other makes and sizes through our local suppliers and can be obtained within the hour. All our prices quoted include new valve, balancing, old casing disposal and Vat.
Well what can we say about MOT's? Love it, hate it? Well we all know what they are why we need them and they are here to stay. We do have some good news though, We do discount the MOT fee and we provide a free retest if your vehicle is left with us for repair, but, you will need to book. This is the only side of our business that requires you book an appointment, Slots are limited so don't leave it too late. If you have been to us before for an MOT or Service then you will be in our database and will receive a reminder by post. Bring the letter with you and you will receive a 5%* discount on your Service or MOT fee.

Since the advent of "Engine Control Unit" or ECU controlled engines, it has been possible to upgrade the performance output of petrol and diesel engined vehicles by reprogramming certain parts of the ECU, usually by changing the fuel-air mixture and the ignition timing to give a more efficient and powerful output. Originally, if you wanted to change the programming of an ECU, you would have to remove the appropriate chip from the circuit board and reprogram (Re-map) it while it is off the ECU. Since 1999, all European vehicles have been with On Board Diagnostic Ports or OBD1 and OBD2 and since the introduction of OBD1 & 2, it has been possible to re-map or re-program via the diagnostic ports without the need to remove chips.
Using new modern equipment we are able to adjust the steering geometry of your vehicle to manufacturers specifications.
