    Equiped with the latest, state of the art, 100% accurate Maha 4wd Dyno, giving us the ability to prove the power output of your vehicle. One important point about the Maha LPS3000 Dyno is, it's one of a few that acurately measures transmission losses, what does this mean? Well to put it simple, most vehicle manufacturers quote flywheel horsepower figures rather than road wheel figures, the numbers are bigger, sound more impressive and this is what sells cars. Although it's nice to know what power it is actually putting down on the tarmac, we believe it's more important to calculate flywheel figures, after all, that's what the manufaturers do, if it can't measure transmission losses accurately, then it's not a true dynometer, how can you really know the true results!?

    Since the advent of "Engine Control Unit" or ECU controlled engines, it has been possible to upgrade the performance output of petrol and diesel engined vehicles by reprogramming certain parts of the ECU, usually by changing the fuel-air mixture and the ignition timing to give a more efficient and powerful output. Originally, if you wanted to change the programming of an ECU, you would have to remove the appropriate chip from the circuit board and reprogram (Re-map) it while it is off the ECU. Since 1999, all European vehicles have been fitted with On Board Diagnostic Ports or OBD1 and OBD2 and since the introduction of OBD1 & 2, it has been possible to re-map or re-program via the diagnostic ports without the need to remove chips.

    Our modified software files are written in house, using the most modern, state of the art editing software. This allows us to tailor the modification to your car and your requirements. We never buy generic files from a third party!

    All our upgrades are invisible and can never be seen by the dealers. We also save a copy of the original and modified file. Should they be overwritten during a routine service then no problem, we can just write it back.

    In the short space of time we have had our dyno, it's opened our eyes to some shocking results from other tuners. Generic files just do not work, no two cars are the same an unless you have access to a dyno with a controlled environment and the means to accurately measure boost and emissions and detect knock, then the remap will be no good, uneconomical, expensive and possibly causing irreversible damage. Sure, it may feel ok on the road but the dyno will show a different picture.
